From the wedding cake, the mehendi, the exchange of wedding rings, limousines, seven steps around the sacred fire, family and friends at the ceremony, the fusion style weddings themes, hindu priests and wedding garlands we celebrate the exciting and colourful elements of an Indian style wedding.

The couples featured on the first Australian Indian Weddings promotional video include:

The music is edited from a very popular song titled ”Tere Bin” sung by the legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
The song, ”Tere Bin” later featured on the soundtrack to the popular movie ”Bend it Like Beckham” as well as HBO’s Sex and the City Season 2, Episode 9.
The selected lyrics from the song edited for the 30 second promotional video are:
Jaania… – which translates to ‘My life’_ in English
Tere Bin Nahi Lagda Dil Mera, Dholna – which tanslates to ’My heart is not at peace without you my love’
